2 Weeks in Review

Malachi and I had a date night last Sunday. SO much fun!! When we thought to take these pictures Alif called us nerds. Gee thanks Dad! We didn't care though - in fact, Malachi said, "Let's take the camera and then we can take pictures of ourselves at each location!" Sweet!
First we went to Coldstone Creamery. Oh yuuuummmmmm.
Seriously. Yuuuummmm. We sat on a walking path overlooking the bluffs and admired God's creation. And then we had to make a dash for Target because Mommy + ice cream = uh yeah. Needed to find someplace with plumbing.
One day Alif came home to find the table in its usual state of disarray and he said, "You should take a picture of the table every day as a journal!" Good idea, sweets - you can be in the first picture!
I went outside and there was Canaan, enjoying the view sans clothing. I laughed and asked him what he was doing and he replied, "Oh, nuffing, just having some naked time." ROFL! I told him he could either enjoy naked time inside or put his clothes back on. It was a BIG decision. LOL
There are some huge birds migrating through our area. I don't know what kind they are but we have really been enjoying watching them soar in circles and then move along. Beautiful!
We studied Ancient Egypt today (all of it! Ha - just kidding) and the kids had serious enjoyment of the mummification process.
Caris was such a good sport, standing so still while the boys used up two rolls of TP to make her as mummy-ish as possible. I think they did a pretty good job!

P.S. Tomorrow there will be a GIVEAWAY right here on my blog! Here's a hint!
